RunForIt 5.0 - Ride West

And then it was year number two.

We couldn't go past Howard Smith Wharves to kick off our second year and the location and gathering did not disappoint. Event 5.0 saw RunForIt team up with Ride West and the Rural Flying Doctor Service on Sunday the 20th March, 2022.

The team was briefed about the incredible work that Ride West and the Rural Flying Doctor Service do, in particular bringing awareness to the issue of mental health in rural communities.

Filled with inspiration and knowledge, our community united and made their way out toward Hamilton and back as the recent floods had cut off our Eagle Street Pier route. 

Through fundraising and the sale of our first 'Dad Cap' we managed to raised $2,100 for Ride West and bring awareness to the plight of the rural community. 

Breakfast was that of one with a view over the river hosted by Ciao Papi. 

With that, we commenced our second year!
