RunForIt 3.0 - Happy Boxes Project
Event 3.0 saw us take the event to a crowd favourite and Brisbane icon, the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. It was here on Sunday the 26th September 2021 that we raised funds and awareness for the Happy Boxes Project.
Happy Boxes Project provides toiletries and sanitary needs to Indigenous females in remote communities. We were stoked that we could bring an issue out of sight to the forefront of peoples minds whilst raising $1,855.
Our 5 and 10km routes took everyone across the Story Bridge, along Eagle Street Pier and through the Botanical Gardens, Brisbane really was showing off!
We returned to the top of the cliffs for breakfast at Joey’s, where everyone consumed bulk coffee and bulk croissants. The only way to finish a run.
A great morning was had within the Brisbane Festival period.
