RunForIt 2.0 - Orangesky

Buoyed by an incredible showing of support in Event 1.0, we took our second event to West End! West End has quickly become a favourite for our runners, walkers and rollers with its ease of parking, riverside route, and free flowing pathways. 

2.0 saw the RunForIt community come together on Sunday the 27th June to raise funds and awareness for the homeless community through the great work of Orangesky. Orangesky is a Brisbane born organisation that take showers, laundry and conversations directly to the homeless community.

We managed to raise $2,868 for Orangesky, along with bringing awareness to our community regarding homelessness in Brisbane. An issue potentially not at the forefront of our minds. 

After everyone finished up, the vibes were high and flowed on to breakfast at Plenty in West End (Rest In Peace).
